This contemporary design of commercial Post and Beam construction, is highlighted by a full structural frame of natural round logs.
There is no hidden frame of structural steel!
The Douglas Fir logs form the entire structural frame of the building.Including the free Span log Trusses of up to 60' (20 Meters) The log Trusses were engineered to be built from 18- 24" diameter Kiln Dried Douglas Fir Logs. British Columbia's finest structural wood species! The log components were Kiln dried and manufactured in our production site in Lumby British Columbia, by our amazing team of Heavy Log and Timber specialists. We assisted in the reassembly of the log frame in Germany. Oliver Schattat (Das Holzhaus Oliver Schattat Gmbh) is our German Representative for CANADIAN PRIDE LOG & TIMBER PRODUCTS ™ . He worked extensively with the client, architect (Bruce Olfield), engineers (Fire Tower Engineering- Joe Miller), local building authorities and ourselves to make sure the planning, manufacturing and reassembly went as smoothly as possible.
